Giving something back ...

During their time in the School we have a strong expectation that pupils are expected to put something back into the community.

It is fundamental to our School mission and purpose for pupils to gain awareness and concern for the needs of others in the community in which they live and in the outside world, and then have the opportunity to take responsibility for acting to meet those needs. There is a strong culture at King Edward's of looking out for one another and a tradition of raising money for charity; pupils can also participate in service activities as part of their CAS programme at IB level and via the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, and in Lifesaving. We also encourage pupils to use their own initiative in developing service opportunities. On the following pages you will find details of the different areas of Service offered at King Edward's.
