The Food and Textiles department offers a diverse range of after school activities and regular special events:

  • Cooking for fun’ activities on Tuesdays and Thursdays for all age groups
  • A new range of activities for First and Second Form pupils on Saturday mornings
  • Two ‘Master Chef’ activities for more serious and advanced cooks. This is a school competition which leads every June to the Godalming Rotary Inter-Schools Young Chef event which is for Forms Four and Five. We have then gone on to provide pupils for the next stage – the district competition
  • The Annual coursework Fashion Show for GCSE and AS/A2 Level Textiles pupils held at the beginning of the summer term
  • Annual visits to the ‘Clothes Show’
  • Regular Sixth Form visits to Museums, local chocolate factory and comparative shopping exercises
  • Contributing towards ‘International Food Night’ and Fund raisers such as ‘Pizza Nights’ for Sixth Form students
