Basketball

We have basketball teams as follows: Boys: U13, U15, U16, U18 and Girls: U16, playing regular fixtures against other schools. The boys won over half of their fixtures and the girls won all of theirs.

For the past two years the school has been coached by members of the Guildford Heat basketball team.

For those not in the know, they are the "Manchester United" of British basketball – we have even had a first team player as coach!

The boys and girls train together and have two hours of formal coaching per week. They also spend a lot of time at weekends and some evenings after prep honing their skills – the squad is very committed.

The girls have also been given extra coaching sessions by one of our teaching staff who has played professional basketball in Romania.
