Sixth Form

Small class sizes support a rich learning experience

In the Sixth Form our culture of thinking and enquiry runs deep. During these two years of intellectual discovery we give your natural curiosity free rein. We encourage you to explore ideas without fear of failure.

Our Sixth Formers, whether full, weekly or flexi boarders or day pupils, play a full part in School and House life. At the same time they enjoy a more independent approach to studying, together with the privileges and responsibilities of seniority. Sixth Form is preparation for life, with opportunities to develop leadership, communication and project-management skills.

Understand the world by studying it with international pupils

The huge choice of academic subjects reflects the School’s breadth and diversity. We offer plenty of support to help you choose subjects that play to your strengths and increase opportunities in your life ahead.

With small class sizes and a varied mix of local and international pupils, Sixth Form at King Edward’s is lively and thought-provoking – a good-humoured, wide-ranging and intellectually rigorous preparation for life in a connected world.

Mr Ian Peel – Head of Sixth Form

If you’d like to learn more about our Sixth Form, please contact our Head of Sixth Form, Mr Ian Peel, via email at peelia@kesw.org or by phone on +44 (0) 1428 686732.

I love being in the Sixth Form. We don’t have to wear the uniform, there’s a lot more freedom and just flexibility when it comes to school work and the co-curriculum. The privileges which come with it are amazing.
