Academic Specialisms Shaping and guiding individualised strategies for success
We are proud to offer a broad and varied programme of academic subjects at Sixth Form, all led by our highly qualified and dedicated teachers who not only provide academic excellence though a framework of individualised learning, structure and support, but also create a rich environment where you will grow and flourish in your chosen subjects and beyond.
Our Sixth Form pupils study for their A level and BTEC/level 3 qualifications in small classes of up to ten students learning and growing from their diverse backgrounds and experiences. You’ll benefit from extended academic enrichment and support opportunities, including tutorials and intensive small group subject-based sessions aimed to shaping and guiding individualised strategies for successful studies. Parents use our parent portal to access regular progress updates, grades and written reports and are always very welcome to arrange meetings with teachers and House staff in addition to those offered as part of our parent/staff conference programme.
You will have the opportunity to further develop your study skills through the EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) programme, and a significant proportion of our sixth formers progress to gain UCAS points by completing the full EPQ qualification. Our Sixth Form Programme includes a series of lectures, workshops and visiting speakers as we support you in your academic and non-academic choices to maximise your opportunities to transition to high quality universities and exciting careers.
Entrance requirements
Acceptance into the Sixth Form is conditional upon applicant’s meeting the entrance requirements of the School.
