Well done to Edward House for winning the inter-house Chess Competition with ten points, beating Ridley by two points to take the Chess Cup. Wakefield took third with five points.
Both Sam and Owen are members of the School’s Chess Club and get plenty of competitive games in Exhibition matches and expert coaching from Nicholas Pert GM. The Chess Ladder, introduced this term, has set the challenge to find the top Chess Club winner. Good luck to everyone.
Today our pupils from all year groups attended a fantastic interactive virtual workshop from the V&A in London, the world’s leading museum of art, design and performance. The workshop focused on 20th Century Art such as Art Deco, Modernism and Postmodernism and was led as part of the V&A’s Virtual Classroom programme. The workshop was...
