30th June 2019
We have much pleasure in inviting you to the annual Old Witleians Golf Day which will this year take place on Friday 28 June at West Surrey Golf Club in Godalming. As an Alum and/or Friend of King Edward’s Witley (who has taken part in one of our previous Golf Days over the past few years), we hope you will be interested in the 2019 event.
As always, coffee and bacon rolls will be available at 9.30am with first tee off at 10.30am in 4-balls. The trophy and prize giving will take place in the Clubhouse during the afternoon from approximately 2.30pm.
The cost this year is £60 per player and we respectfully ask for handicaps under 30. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for a booking form.
As this year is the 40th Anniversary of the Old Wits Golf Society, we are delighted to invite golfers to a celebratory dinner in the evening. This will begin at 6.30pm with Prosecco and canapes in either the Bridewell Room or the Selborne Room (depending on numbers). If you would like to join us, the cost will be £25 per person, please let us know at the following email address – email@example.com.
We would also love you to join us for the Old Wits Reunion which takes place the next day on Saturday 29 June. For further details please see https://www.kesw.org/Summer-Reunion-2019
In the meantime, we are so happy to let you know that Bob Jenkins (Grafton, 1955) completed his 22nd London Marathon last Sunday in 6 hours and 50 minutes. Once again, this is an incredible feat and at least the weather was kind this year! If you would like and it’s not too late to sponsor him, please visit: https://mydonate.bt.com/events/bobmarathon2019
We very much look forward to hearing from you soon and welcoming you to one of these events.
