Dmytro Chilikin, a King Edward’s Witley U6 pupil, presented his research work at the ESD (Economics and Social Development) Conference which took place in Zagreb on 13 and 14 December. The feedback received was excellent and a Professor of Finance and Doctor of Economical Sciences, commented “I would say his presentation and report was one of the best at the Conference.” Dmytro was marked by the President of the Scientific Committee as the youngest participant of all the previous ESD Conferences, this December event was number 49.
Dmytro presented his research work as a King Edward’s Witley pupil was reflected in the title of his published work and was included in the introduction of his presentation at the Conference.
Despite the challenges and disruption that COVID-19 has caused for schools everywhere, the Upper Sixth pupils studying the International Baccalaureate now have reason to celebrate as they receive their IB Diploma results today.
