Café Scientifique presents: ‘Physics of Movies’

On Wednesday night, the Physics Department hosted the second Café Scientifique of the term, this time focused on the Physics of Movies. Mistakes were highlighted, myths were busted and problems pondered. Movies dissected included Star Wars, Superman, The Italian Job, James Bond, Prometheus and The A-Team.

Next term at Café Scientifique, themes will be “Extremes of the Universe” and “Aero Engineering – Issues and Solutions” with guidance on how to enter the world of engineering.
