After a busy term throughout the school, it was so special for our community to be able to gather for end of term celebrations. On Friday 9th December our community gathered for our annual ‘KESW Christmas’. The evening began with mocktails in house, followed by photos by the Christmas tree. House’s made their way to their allocated rooms for a three course dinner, which was delicious! The evening concluded with a disco in Charter Hall which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
A big thank you to our catering team, Thomas Franks, our estates team and all teachers and support staff who made this night possible. The biggest thanks goes to Mrs Condy, who organised the entire event. Till next year!
The Lower 6th had a lecture last week from Professor Amelia Hadfield, Head of Politics at Surrey University, who spoke about the Extended Project Qualification and skills needed for university and beyond! Many pupils at KESW go on to complete the EPQ which allows them to have a ‘unique calling card’, as Professor Hadfield put it, which can allow pupils to stand out in this very competitive world. She also discussed how the research skills they have developed so far on the course will give them valuable experience to prepare them for University study. #EPQ #BridewellFamily...
