Where do you live and where were you born?
I live in Storrington, West Sussex and I was born in Rustington, West Sussex.
What's your favourite thing about working at King Edward's Witley?
I am passionate about laundry and dry cleaning, its an ever changing industry and there are always new innovations to get excited about. I have a wonderful team in both departments and I am very much a team player. I enjoy helping the students with any uniform issues or laundry matters and meeting the parents who also use the onsite laundry and dry cleaning services on offer. There is a lovely sense of community here at KES.
What are your hobbies?
When the weather permits I enjoy riding my bike over the South Downs.
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I always wanted to work as an air hostess now known as cabin crew, I thought it would be the perfect way to see the world! When I left school I realised that it wasn’t quite as glamorous as I thought!
What is the funniest thing a pupil has ever said to you?
It wasn’t said to me but a student asked my colleague how much their nose piercing cost? To which another student piped up after finding out the price, “You can buy a hamster for less than that!”

My Favourite movie is Dirty Dancing.
My Favourite song is Dakota by the Stereophonics.
