Tell us a little about your time at King Edward's Witley?
I was at King Edward’s from the 2nd Year right through to Sixth Form and left in 1994. I was Head Boy and also Head of House at Grafton, as well as being in the hockey team.
What did life after school hold?
I went on to study Medicine at St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London Medical School. I also worked in Western Australia for a time.
I trained in Paediatrics and then specialised in Neonatal care. I have been a Consultant based in Gloucestershire for the last 12 years.
In fact, I went on to marry a King Edward’s girl, Jo Springford, and we celebrated our 21st anniversary in 2023. We have three children and very much enjoy travelling with them!
I have such fond memories of my time at KESW, and have remained friends with a number of people from my time there.
We are delighted that Longacre School will join King Edward’s and Barrow Hills within the Bridewell Royal Hospital Foundation, with our merger being intended to be completed by January 2025. Read more around this merger here
We are very proud to share the news that the Bridewell Connect platform for @oldwitleians and @barrowhillsschool alumni has reached 1,000 registrations in just one year since launch. We are looking forward to continued growth and to connecting our alumni and current pupils and families as we continue to build our worldwide community! #bridewellschools...
