Frequently Asked Questions:

What is the dress code?
Casual for performers, pupils and parents… however, anything goes – evening gowns and DJs are also welcome if you love to dress up!

Can we bring family members?
Please do! Proms is open to all members of the Bridewell community, and you are very welcome to bring family members of all generations.

Should we bring our own picnic?
Yes, please do bring food and drinks for your family picnic. It is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy our beautiful School grounds and there is plenty of space for all to enjoy. There will be no catering on this occasion but there will be a cool glass of Pimms or a soft drink served just before the start of Proms.

Where should we park for Proms?
The main School car park will be available for parking, and there will be other parking available around the school – when you arrive, staff and pupils will be on hand to guide you to the Chapel lawn

What happens if it rains?
The show goes on! We have a wet-weather plan, which will swing into action in the event of inclement weather. There will be seating provided indoors and Proms will be relocated to Chapel on the day.

Can we bring our dog?
You are welcome to bring your dog(s) but these must remain on a lead and be kept under control at all times. There are dog waste bins and water stations located around the School site. As the weather will potentially be warm, we would respectfully ask that you do not leave your dog(s) unattended in your vehicle.
