AppArt Opens This Week at King Edward’s Witley

We are delighted to welcome the marvellous AppArt exhibition back to where it all began – here at King Edward’s, Witley. Now in its annual Easter edition, AppArt has become one of South East England’s most celebrated art and sculpture events, showcasing a mix of professional and emerging artists.

Preparations are already underway, with installations for the much-loved sculpture trail taking shape across the grounds, transforming the School into a vibrant celebration of creativity.

Bridewell exhibitors include Marnie Glue our artist in residence and Paul Holland from King Edward’s School, Witley; Phoebe, a pupil at King Edward’s; Laura Douse, a Bridewell parent; Ruth Wheeler, our art teacher from Barrow Hills; and pupils Ben and Rose from Barrow Hills School.

The full exhibition opens to the public this Saturday (4 April) and runs daily from 10am – 4pm until Friday 17 April, offering visitors the chance to explore a stunning collection of artwork set within our beautiful surroundings.

We are thrilled that acclaimed sculptor Nicola Godden, known for her work for the London 2012 Olympic Games, will officially open this year’s exhibition and trail, continuing AppArt’s tradition of showcasing exceptional artistic talent.

Come and discover the marvellous artwork hosted here at King Edward’s Witley and experience this unique cultural event for all ages.
