The Role
As Head of Maths, you will lead a dynamic and dedicated department, shaping an ambitious and engaging maths curriculum from KS1 through to KS3. You’ll play a pivotal role in cultivating curiosity, confidence, and a genuine enjoyment of mathematics across the school.
You’ll inspire both pupils and colleagues – driving high standards, championing innovative teaching, and ensuring every child is supported and challenged to achieve their very best. From nurturing foundational skills to stretching our most able mathematicians beyond the ISEB syllabus, your impact will be felt in every classroom.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a forward‑thinking and passionate leader who:
- Has a proven track record of excellent Maths teaching at KS2 and KS3
- Inspires a love of problem‑solving and numerical thinking
- Has experience preparing pupils for Common Entrance and CASE
- Uses data intelligently to drive progress and achievement
- Brings energy, warmth, and a collaborative spirit to school life
