King Edward’s Witley follows the UK academic year September to July. The year comprises approximately 35 weeks in school over three terms. During each term there are usually two exeat weekends from Friday to Sunday when boarders will go and stay with family, friends or guardians. Each term has a half term which is two weeks in the longer Autumn Term and one week in the Spring and Summer Terms.
A non-refundable registration fee of £150 is payable when a pupil’s name is first registered.
On acceptance all pupils are charged a non-refundable fee of £300.
All UK and EU pupils on acceptance pay £500 which is held as a deposit and refunded on leaving the School once all debts are settled.
Overseas pupils on acceptance of a place must pay a deposit (in addition to the acceptance fee) of one term’s fees which will be refunded on the pupil’s departure from the School once all debts are settled.
School fees are set an annual rate, split into three equal termly payments due in advance of the first day of term.

All day pupil fees include lunch and the option to take all meals at School without additional charge.
King Edward’s pupils wear school uniform from 1st to 5th Form. Sixth Form pupils wear their own business suit. The Sewing Room staff manage the repair and replacement of uniform. The Parent Handbook which will be sent out by the Admissions Department details all uniform and equipment needs for day and boarding pupils.
The fees are inclusive of all the normal maintenance and recreational activities, and for boarders, normal medical care in the Medical Centre. King Edward’s offers a flexible day for day pupils which includes lunch and the option to take all meals at the School without additional charge. Boarding fees include the provision of linen, including towels and laundry.
Any additional fees for extra academic tuition, individual music and LAMDA lessons, emergency medical treatment, travel and overseas trips will be added to a pupil’s termly bill.
Sibling discounts are available for children at King Edward’s and our Bridewell Foundation partner school, Barrow Hills School and Nursery.
Discounts on fees for children of armed forces families will be considered.
Pupils accrue a Sixth Form Loyalty discount of 2% per year from 1st Form to 5th Form (maximum of 10%). There is a minimum qualification period of two years at the School. This discount is applied net after any other discount or scholarship. The loyalty discount carries across from 1st Form for pupils at our Bridewell Foundation partner school, Barrow Hills School and Nursery.
Please note under the School’s terms and conditions you must give a term’s written notice to terminate the parent contract, given no later than the first day of the term which is to be the pupils’ final full term at the School.
