Meeting with Her Majesty The Queen - Royal Confirmation of the Guild of St Bride.
On Tuesday, our Head Boy, Peter, Head Girl, Abigail and our Chaplain, Reverend James Radcliffe, attended a Service of Celebration at St Bride’s Church in the heart of London. They had the great pleasure of meeting with Her Majesty The Queen during the service which marked the 650th Anniversary of the Royal Confirmation of the Guild of St Bride.
Abigail delivered a confident and considered reading during the service, after which organ music filled the church as the congregation gathered for worship.
This was a proud moment for King Edward’s Witley as Peter and Abigail formally became confirmed members of the Guild of St Bride.

National Apprenticeship Week 2026
In the current economic climate, higher and degree apprenticeships are becoming increasingly popular and represent one of the most attractive pathways into employment. As we wrap up National Apprenticeship Week at KESW, we were delighted to welcome back Ella Rowdon (OW2025) and her brother Robert Rowdon to share their exceptional experiences of Degree Apprenticeships at two major global organisations.
Ella is currently studying a Degree Apprenticeship in Project Management at Rolls-Royce, whilst Robert studies Supply Chain Management with Airbus. Our Fourth Form and Lower Sixth were very interested to hear about their experiences which provided them with much food for thought.
Thank you, Ella and Robert!
