Today, our GCSE and Lower Sixth A-level History pupils listened to some of our @OldWitleians deliver a talk called “KESW: Living through History.” We thank those who gave their time to share a valuable insight into their lives through various historical periods. #KESWCommunity
We were excited and honoured to welcome Darcy Bourne, Great Britain Hockey player, to King Edward's yesterday. Darcy talked succinctly about her sporting journey and career highlighting how it has intertwined with her passion for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion both in and out of her sporting life. A presentation to Year 9, 10 and Lower Sixth, the pupils were all hooked. They all listened intently, asking many insightful, and often, powerful questions including which football team she supports! We would like to thank Mrs Fitch, Head of Girls Games and Head of Hockey, for organising such an inspirational event.#diversityandinclusion#independentschools#blacklivesmatter... See MoreSee Less
