Set in glorious Surrey countryside, access to the School could not be easier.

Whether you fly, drive or come by train your journey will be straightforward with excellent links to and from London, Heathrow and Gatwick Airports and the South Coast, all less than one hour away.

By Road

From London and M25, travel on A3, by-passing Guildford. Leave the A3 at Milford Junction, go through the first set of traffic lights and turn left, following signs for the A283. At the roundabout take the second exit, signposted β€˜A283 Petworth’. Pass through Witley village and King Edward’s Witley is on your right, at the top of Wormley Hill, half a mile beyond the village.
From the south, take the A3 and come off at the Milford Junction, following directions as above.

By Rail

Witley is on the main London Waterloo to Portsmouth railway line with frequent services to Witley. London and Portsmouth are both less than an hour away by train and Witley station is within five minutes’ walk of the School.

The recent Berlin visit by our language, history and art students reminds us how closely art, history, politics, psychology, architecture, sport and society are deeply interwoven.

Visiting the DDR Museum, Berlinische and East Side Gallery, which is the longest standing section of the Berlin wall, the Reichstag building designed by British architect Norman Foster, Stasi prison, and the Olympic Stadium, this was a powerful trip for our pupils learning to understand some world changing moments of the past- and in so doing, their place in the future. 🌍

King Edward’s Christmas Charity Appeal 2025 πŸŽ„

This season of giving is well and truly upon us, and we are delighted to be supporting the charity Stripey Stork to share the magic of this special season with families experiencing hardship. We are seeking support and donations from our kind and generous KESW community and beyond to help to ensure that every child receives a new gift to open on Christmas morning.

Gifts should be brand-new items and left unwrapped. A suggested list is detailed below:

β€’ Card games, board games, puzzles
β€’ Creative sets e.g. arts/crafts/jewellery
β€’ Science and nature activity sets
β€’ Sports equipments e.g. footballs/table tennis/magnetic darts
β€’ Hooded blankets
β€’ Sports branded socks, e.g. Nike, Adidas, Puma (adult size 3+)
β€’ Wireless headphones, earbuds, bluetooth speakers, fitness tracker
β€’ Teen bedroom light decoration, e.g. fairy lights, neon sign, lightbox (USB, no batteries)
β€’ Teenage toiletry gifts sets and make up sets
Books (all ages)

There are collection boxes in reception and at the KESW laundry and you can donate up until Monday 8th December
