We were delighted to welcome pupils from St Ives School Haslemere to explore the App Art Sculpture Trail, hosted in the beautiful grounds here at King Edward’s Witley. Guided by our Art Department they all enjoyed finding out more about the materials, and drawing their own pictures of the sculptures. What a talented bunch!
The App Art Sculpture Trail and Exhibition is open to all 4th and the 18th April, 10am to 4pm, with free entry, at King Edward’s - more information is available at www.appartonline.co.uk
🏙️ We were incredibly grateful to AXA for opening their offices and allowing our pupils to experience working life in a busy City office.
Our pupils enjoyed a tour of their amazing offices on 16th floor with scenic views across the City. They met with AXA and AXA XL apprentices and interns who shared their varied career journeys and gave tips and insights into careers in insurance and risk management before meeting The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), the professional body dedicated to building trust in the insurance and financial planning profession.
The CII team ran an interactive game of risk competition for our pupils to experience the kind of critical thinking decisions professionals risk managers need to make during times of crisis. An incredible, work experience and networking opportunity for all.

⚽️ Heartbreak but heads held very high for our U15 Boys who lost their ISFA Trophy final 1-0 after extra time today.
The boys were superb and couldn’t have worked any harder. They have shown so much commitment and team spirit all season - we couldn’t be prouder of them.

Yesterday in our Bridewell Speaker Series we were delighted to welcome back a panel of our Old Witleians to reflect on experiences gained during their careers as workforces continue to diversify.
Their stories were inspiring and insightful and led to some brilliant questions from our pupils. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this event, and to Miss Sophie Quiney, our Head of Science for her expert moderation of our lively discussion.

Bridewell Day 2026
Our Founder, Nicholas Ridley, Bishop of London, understood that education can transform lives and in 1553 inspired the young King Edward VI to grant Bridewell Palace in the City of London to the Lord Mayor to house, care and educate girls and boys within The Bridewell Royal Hospital. Last week we celebrated our proud foundation, rich history, and our bright future at St Brides’s Church in our historic City of London home.

Something big is coming to King Edward’s Witley!
In just over three weeks we welcome the marvellous AppArt exhibition back to where it all started. The installations for the sculpture trail have begun this week, and the entire exhibition will be open to the public 10am - 4pm between the 4th and 18th April.

With 15 schools joining us for a fantastic day of sunshine and outstanding netball, the standard on display was exceptional. Huge congratulations to Durlston Prep and Senior School on winning the tournament !👏
It was inspiring to see such impressive sportsmanship, teamwork and competitive spirit throughout the day - girls’ sport at its very best.
