Shortly after exam season-with no sign of fatigue-Upper Sixth pupils Emily and Elena completed the entire South Downs Way: 200 km and 4,500 m of ascent in just under a week. Their mission was to support The Fountain Centre and Emerge Advocacy at Royal Surrey County Hospital.
Already raising £2,000, every penny goes directly to charities that provide emotional care for cancer patients and vital support for young people in crisis.
This challenge perfectly reflects the KESW Sixth Form ethos: resilience, ambition and compassion-flourishing beyond the classroom.

A massive congratulations to Emily and Elena-true inspirations and shining examples of King Edward’s values lived day to day! 👏

So, we shared the pre-match build up … and now we are very proud to provide a round-up of a truly great day for our U15 boys football team and our whole School community at the ESFA National Cup Final at The Hawthorns.
An enormous thank you to everyone who supported our lads- whether vocal in the stands, watching live on YouTube, or lighting up the comments on our community group chats, your positivity and enthusiasm was incredible. Our huge thanks also to our three brilliant pupil pundits for their professionalism and great commentary.
To our dedicated @keswsport coaches who guided and supported these boys with strategy and heart before, during and after this competition - bravo.
And to this group of brilliantly talented, decent young men who had us all on the edge of our seats, gave it their all and played a terrific match; what sportsmanship to be so gracious, resilient and united as that final whistle blew. You should be incredibly proud.
All eyes on 2026… we’ll be ready. See you there. #esfa #playstationcup #kesw #keswsport #eyeson2026
A fantastic morning of team building for our Lower School (Queen Mary House) pupils to get stuck in to yesterday. A series of fun challenges that tested lots of important life skills: communication, planning, collaboration, innovative thinking, leadership and resilience under pressure.
Some great results. Together Everyone Achieves More!

🏄♀️ 🌊 Oh, we do like to be beside the sea side!
Our action packed Lower School activity week got off to a cracking start on Monday. A day filled with fun, collaboration, and stretch, our pupils took to the beaches of West Wittering for a good dollop of sun & surf with a side order of service!
The day included surfing, mega SUP, body boarding, beach volleyball and a beach clean up which the pupils undertook with great energy and positive spirits.
