We are hopeful current COVID restrictions will have been fully lifted and we are able to gather to celebrate Bertie Mawer’s life on 26th June at King Edward’s School. Refreshments will be available upon arrival at 11am in Charter Hall followed by the Memorial in the Chapel at 11.30am. After the Memorial, the Mawer family invites you to join them for a light lunch served in the Selborne Room and out on the Quad. To ensure we are able to cater for the needs of all guests to the memorial, please RSVP using the form below. We will provide name badges (at lunch) to make it easier for the Mawer family to greet all their guests.
We hope you will consider remaining on campus after the Memorial to participate in KESW Community Day which will consist of a cricket match on Upper Gurdon’s between the 1st XI and Old Witleians (2pm), summer fête activities (4pm) and Proms (6pm) with food and drink vans available throughout the day. You are encouraged to bring as many guests as you would like to KESW Community Day.
