At King Edward’s our uniform shop is known as the Sewing Room, as it offers an alteration and repair service as well as the supplying all uniform, sports and games kit. The Sewing Room is in the South Side of the main school building. Please enter via Reception and follow signs to the Sewing Room.
School fees at King Edward’s currently include the provision of the main school uniform clothing for pupils from 1st to 5th Form. The Sixth Form wear their own suits, which need to be purchased from external retail shops. The fees do not provide sports and games kit free of charge so these are chargeable. All pupils are required to buy the King Edward’s sports kit, and appropriate safety accessories, for example mouth guards, shin pads. These are all available for purchase in the Sewing Room.

Our usual opening hours are from 8am to 12pm. The Sewing Room is closed for lunch and reopens 12.30pm to 4.15pm.
Monday to Friday, except Bank Holidays, Easter and between Christmas and New Year.
We are operating reduced hours as follows: Friday 18th June to Friday 25th June, the Sewing Room will be open from 8am until 12pm only Monday to Friday.
