In March 2019, local schools, Governors and parents were invited to King Edward’s for our main School production of Dennis Kelly’s DNA. Tickets were offered free of charge to local schools and the performance took place in Charter Hall. We were delighted to welcome 250 visitors over two evenings.
Aims
To offer pupils from local schools the opportunity to visit King Edward’s and enjoy Dennis Kelly’s extraordinary play performed by pupils from across our School. We also invited parents and Governors to this intense production which was re-enacted by a range of talented Middle and Senior School pupils in our Theatre, Charter Hall.
King Edward’s Pupil Involvement
Pupils from the 3rd to 6th Form made up the cast members and also crew which included managing and running the lighting and sound.
