Community Counts

During the UK’s ‘lockdown’ period due to the COVID-19 outbreak, there have been many fantastic ideas, activities and initiatives circulating within our King Edward’s Witley community and we would like to share these with you below.

We will be updating this page frequently so please come back regularly and have a look. If you have any suggestions or comments please email the Marketing Team on marketing@kesw.org.

More resources from teachers are available to our pupils via Firefly.

The History Department has put together a list of good History related films and books to help keep pupils busy over the holidays. It’s a mix of factual books and biographies, and historical fiction, so there’s something for everyone.

I appreciate how very challenging this has been for schools in the UK, but can only imagine how much more difficult whilst managing a residential and international community. One thing however is that both my husband and I are always confident that our son’s and all other pupils best interests will be put first. The School and staff have also been brilliant in putting together an on-line education provision at super short notice. So very important and invaluable whilst we put in place some semblance of routine here at home. But even more importantly from a well-being perspective, helping to keep a sense of school community and responsibility in place for our son. Thank you.
