Triathlon World Championship Accomplishment

One of our staff members, Mrs Meyer, recently competed in the World Triathlon Championships in Abu Dhabi in part of the GB age group team.
Mrs Meyer competed in the standard distance event which consisted of a 1500m open water swim, 40km bike and 10km run. There were competitors from all over the world and in Mrs Meyer’s age group from GB, USA, Canada, Australia, Mexico and Poland to name a few. Mrs Meyer made an incredibly accomplishment by finishing the swim in the front group and proceeding through the field to finish 2nd on bike.
“The heat made the run really tough, but I managed to finish 4th in my age group overall with a time of 2 hours and 17 minutes. A great experience and result after a long season of training”
